Well, it’s another Sunday morning. And as I sit in my room doing laundry I decided to write another post. Today it won’t be about people that get on my nerves or that make me sad. It’s about people that are a dying breed. People that are as honest as the day is long and work harder than anyone. People that do what they love and don’t care what other people say about it.
I was watching Texas Country Reporter this morning, as I do every Sunday morning and I noticed something. Every person they show is doing something the love. Whether it is a woodcarver or a barber pole maker. They all do something they love doing and wouldn’t have it any other way.
The woodcarver I mentioned is named Marika and she lives in Seguin, TX. She is originally from Haiti. She speaks with the wisdom of the ages. So eloquent are her words. I’m trying to type this as I watch her, but am having to take breaks just to listen. If you ever get a chance to hear her speak, you will listen.
